Pool and Spa Barrier Compliance

Understanding Pool and Spa Safety Barrier requirements.

Current building regulations require both proposed and existing swimming pool and spa barriers to comply with the relevant provisions of Australian Standard AS 1926.1. New swimming pools and spas must comply with AS 1926.1:2024, while existing pool and spa barriers are generally required to comply with the version of AS 1926.1 that was applicable at the time the pool or spa was constructed.

CFL can provide preliminary advice and onsite consultation to support a compliant outcome.
